Advertising Information

At Knoxville Magazine, our editorial mission is to celebrate all things Knoxville by providing our readers the highest standard of editorial and design content. The cover is perfect bound on 80 lb. gloss cover stock with 60 lb. text stock on the inside, making it Knoxville's most substantial and high quality periodical.

Knoxville Magazine can be found on over 120 local newsstands and in a wide range of retail establishments, including Kroger, Food City, Weigel’s, Walgreens, Wal-Mart, Hargreaves Books, CVS Pharmacy, Barnes & Noble, Borders and Carpe Librum Booksellers. In addition, Knoxville Magazine is mailed directly to Knox County residents with an annual income of $80,000+ and to all local businesses with five or more employees, including all doctors, dentists, lawyers and salons.

Our goal is to saturate the Knoxville area, reaching its most influential citizens. A recent Erdos and Morgan Study performed for City and Regional Magazines Association documents the importance of city magazines as an influence in shaping attitudes and opinions in the communities they serve.

What separates Knoxville Magazine from other local periodicals?

Simple. In addition to being professionally photographed and designed, each issue of Knoxville Magazine features many of Knoxville's best writers and critics. Featured writers include Metro Pulse's Award Winning Associate Editor, Jack Neely, Knoxville Magazine editor and Metro Pulse contributor, Frank Cagle (Local News and Politics), Knoxville Magazine managing editor and Metro Pulse contributor Gay Lyons (Restaurant and Cuisine, Lifestyle), Knoxville Magazine associate editor and Metro Pulse editor Leslie Wylie (Homes and Garden, Travel), Matt Edens (Urban Life, Neighborhoods), Dave Link (Sports), Jeanne McDonald (Arts and Culture), Dennis Perkins (Wine), Margaret Pierce (Religion), Wendy Smith (Health and Fitness, Homes), Chloe White (Health and Fitness, Lifestyle), and a host of other talented contributors.

With a readership of 350,000, it is our intent to reach a wide cross-section of the area’s movers and shakers. Our average reader is expected to be a 40-year-old female, whose household income is in excess of $80,000 annually. However, we believe that approximately 45% of our readers will be male, and that most of these readers will likewise have an annual household income in excess of $80,000. Advertising with Knoxville Magazine will ensure that your message reaches the most influential people in the greater Knoxville area.
